Job Summary:
The Service Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the service center by investigating technical issues, validating customer complaints, and supporting repair activities. The role includes diagnosing vehicle faults, supervising repair work, and ensuring that technicians strictly follow standard procedures and quality guidelines.
Responsibilities:
1.Investigate technical problems and assist service center to repair and inspect complaining customers' vehicle to verify problems and supervise repair.
2. Confirm diagnosis procedure related to the symptom (General Repair).
3.Ensure the technician follows standard repair procedures.
4.Initiate STOP process when a problem cannot be identified and raise a Repair Support Request to NTL.
5. Assist with the correct dispatching of repair orders to technicians based on skill level & experience in a timely manner.
6. Follow up all repeat repair cases during inspection in workshop.
7. Analyze comebacks / quality rejections and discuss with related staff and implement actions to effectively reduce / combat poor quality services / repairs.
8. Provide job instruction to technicians if needed.
9. Management of all technical information inside workshop.
Skills Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years in automotive service operations, technical support roles, or technical training.
- In-depth understanding of car service processes, troubleshooting, and vehicle systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel
